Big Island of Hawai‘i is one of eight main islands that make up the U.S. State of Hawai'i.

O'ahu is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands and most populated island in the State of Hawai'i. The island is home to about 900,000 people, approximately 75% of the resident population of the state.

Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands at 727 square miles. The larger towns on Maui Island include Kahului, Wailuku, Lahaina, and Kihei.

Kauai is the oldest and fourth largest of the main Hawaiian Islands, having an area of 1,446 km² . Known as the "Garden Isle".

Lanai is the sixth-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It is also known as Pineapple Island because of its past as an island-wide pineapple plantation. The only town is Lana'i City, a small settlement.

Molokai is the fifth largest island of the Hawaiian archipelago. Molokai is built from two distinct volcanoes known as East Moloka'i and the much smaller West Moloka'i.

Ni'ihau, is the smallest of the inhabited Hawaiian Islands in the U.S. State of Hawai'i. Ni'ihau is also known as the "Forbidden Island".
